DAY 1: ARRIVE MIDDLEMARCH
Transport from Dunedin to Middlemarch by Taieri Gorge Train or Private Shuttle
Day 2: Local Adventure Day
Choice of adventure
Day 3: Game Day Dunedin
Relax in the morning. Enjoy a Country Style Lunch with Community Hospitality and entertainment to get you into the Rugby Spirit. Transport to the Stadium in Dunedin for the game. Return transport to Middlemarch.
Day 4: Departure
Transport provided back to Dunedin
Rail Trail Experience
Experience one of New Zealand's "Must Do Adventures." Take in the stunning views on offer as you cycle part of The Otago Central Rail Trail with your own personal guide.
Before departing Middlemarch you will be professionally fitted onto your hire bikes by the friendly team at Trail Journey's.
You will then be transported to Daisy Bank where you will cycle 12km through the picturesque gorge to Hyde. You will cycle over the historic stone Cap Burn railway bridge at Tiroiti before crossing the amazing 32m high Prices Creek Viaduct. Cycling on a bit further you will enter the 152m long Prices Creek tunnel.
Upon arrival at Hyde you will be treated to lunch at The Otago Central Hotel. You will have time to explore the township of Hyde including a visit to the craft shop.
After lunch you can choose to either cycle the remaining 27km to Middlemarch or take the option of being transported back to Middlemarch by your guide.
