Towards a More Sustainable Tourism

Nō tātou katoa te haepapa – it’s our shared responsibility

Sustainable tourism protects our taiao (environment), supports local communities, and ensures future generations can enjoy this special part of Aotearoa.

Whether on foot, bike, horseback or by car, please travel with care: respect the land and locals, leave no trace (waiho i te taiao kia purea), and support local where you can. Your visit helps keep the Strath Taieri resilient, connected, and vibrant. Ngā mihi nui – thank you for travelling thoughtfully.
