The Middlemarch Golf Club proudly presents the Cockies Classic Golf Tournament – a long-standing local tradition held every May, bringing farmers and friends together for a day of laughs, fresh air, and friendly competition.

Open to men and women of all abilities, the Cockies Classic is all about enjoying some time on the green – no stock, no stress – just swing! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just keen for the social buzz, you’re guaranteed a great day out.

Just 500 metres from town, the Middlemarch Golf Course is a relaxed and welcoming 9-hole public course with spectacular views across the Strath Taieri Valley and up to the Rock and Pillars. With flat-but-fun fairway, a few sneaky doglegs, and a famously long par 3, this par 72, 5,650m course is a local gem.
