The Hyde Hotel, built in 1927, stands at the centre of the Hydeaway experience. This beautiful rustic building is currently undergoing an exterior restoration, including the windows, roof, painting, and plastering, with great care taken to honour and preserve its historic legacy. The character of the original structure is being brought back to life, ensuring that the charm of the early 20th century remains part of its future.

Looking ahead, Central Otago Hydeaway is entering an exciting phase of development. The vision is to evolve the Hyde Hotel into a destination in its own right, beginning with the introduction of an in-house masseuse to enhance the guest experience.
